1. Chris – Give The Kid a Break-

“This seems so unfair to me too. If the cut off was only by 12 hours, they should let him slide by. There should also be some sort of proticall inplace for situations such as this. I mean this kid was held back! Not because he was disruptive, or not mature enough, or never tried to study or learn but because of a disorder. That’s just crap! They should allow him to play.”

2. Erika- Too Much Information on Twitter?

“I completely agree with you. This is a very scary epidemic now a days. I have also heard of websites and blogs that collect that type of data. It’s almost like a database for burglers. Basically I am say “Hey! I’m not home right now because I am in Mexico for a week, but since my address, home phone number and full name are posted on here, just look me up and go break in.” I might as well be an inviation for crime.”

3. Danny- Welcome to the Real World

“I know exactly what you mean.  I graduate in May, and I cant believe how fast it all went by.  I too am planning to use my speech communications degree, but like you said there are no garuntees.  The real world kind of seems like a scary place. I know you’ll find something you love and that you’ll be awsome at it, until then you have a year and a half left of school, so make the most of it!”

4. Lindy- Respect is spelled R-E-S-P-E-C-T

“I agree with this 100 percent. It also seems that for some reason people become very rude during the holiday season. All of the stores are at their most busy time of the year and he service people are doing their jobs, but some customers just do not have patience. It’s the holidays people! I head a woman cusing out a young man at Walmart last night because he took too long helping her load her car up. The woman was young and physically able to do this task on her own, but she was too lazy. I just couldn’t believe it.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, the country singer? December 8, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — jbauden @ 10:49 pm

Some of us may have already known that Hollywood bombshell, Gwyneth Paltrow, was musically inclined and a gifted singer after seeing her 2000 film Duets.   After shooting her latest movie, Country Strong, Paltrow is considering making a career change.  The well known actress is considering diving into the country music pool.

Apparently her rocker husband, Coldplay’s front man Chris Martin, does not fully support his wife on this matter.  Some believe that it has to do with his jealousy, but who really knows. However, getting to the bigger picture, does this mean that Paltrow’s golden locks will never grace the silver screen again? We’ve seen actors become singers and singers transform into actors, but it doesn’t always work out for them.  Could this become bad publicity for Gwyneth?  What if she fails as a country star, could that possibly hinder her acting career too? You decide.

Katy Perry. Oops, I mean Mrs. Brand? December 8, 2010

Well known pop artist Katy Perry has recently married British comedian Russell Brand, and has said she is now in the process of changing her name.  Let’s face it, this is a very traditional thing to do for the common gal to do, but could this be a dicey move for Perry?

She’s been publicly known as “Katy Perry” since she first broke out onto the music scene.  Changing her name to Katy Brand, while being very honourable to Russell, could throw a lot of people off. Hopefully this risky decision doesn’t affect her career. Many people would not have pegged Perry to make such a conventional decision. When it comes from a public relations standpoint, it may be smarter for her to go with the more modern hyphenation of the name, Perry-Brand.  This may just be my opinion though.

The news came out after Ellen DeGeneres asked Perry the question on Wednesday’s episode of her talk show.
